Every person in this world does have a dream or an ambition which one wants to fulfill during his/her life. This very dream encourages you to do better and better and move towards your goal. Not everything you think of can be your dream. Some things are just part of the fascination you grew up with during your childhood. However, your dream plays an important role in your life.
Every day I like to take some time aside from my responsibilities to think about my dreams and all the goals I want to achieve. My dream is to become a flight attendant. It is something that has always intrigued me. I still remember in my elementary days and it was during our graduation day. A speech from one of the honor graduates asking her co-graduates, what are your dreams, what do you want to be when you grow up. And I was like, is it really necessary to have a dream in life? her biggest dream is to become a flight attendant. I didn’t know what kind of profession is that because all I know during elementary days is to play.
I enjoyed my childhood days so much and it never came to my mind that I should set a goal and have a dream in life. I started asking about this ind of profession to my mom and she told me that I will be working in the plane and will fly to different countries, stayed in a prestigious hotel during layovers, good food and that is all for free plus the salary and benefits are competitive.
But only having a dream won’t help, I also need to work towards the achievement of my dream. As being a flight attendant is not easy as it seems, first I need to understand the basics of what a flight attendant actually is. This will be the first step towards my dream. So after completing my senior high school, I’ve enrolled myself in a reputed university and took up BS in Tourism Management. By the I will have gained the complete knowledge on tourism management and its functioning which will help me reach my dream.
